ABOUT US
Rude Sounds Records is a recording label, event organizer, and makes merch like CDs, cassettes, embroidery patches, T-shirts, and more.
Some gigs we’ve hosted are Mohawk Fest, Double Strike, KL Belongs to Us, Antifa Fest, Pogo Maniac, and more. We’ve used venues like Stadium Chin Woo, Rumah Api, Garage Studio, The Key, The Wall, Kem Isi Rimba, Behave Studio, Drum Asia, Bangunan Melaka, and various other spots in Malaysia.
Now, with our website rudesounds.com, we wanna offer a pro ticket platform for other underground gig organizers to upgrade how they sell tickets—both pre-sale and at the door—without having to use existing mainstream platforms that charge high service fees. With pro tickets on the starfuck web platform, buyers can now purchase gig tickets through our website, and organizers just need to scan the buyer’s QR code at the door.
The Rude Sounds website will also share info about underground gigs in Malaysia from various organizers to make it easy for the underground scene kids to find info about upcoming gigs. Organizers can share the gigs they’re organizing just by filling out a form.
Underground bands or artists can share their biographies on the Rude Sounds website by filling out a form. This is to introduce the background of the bands and artists to fans. It also makes it easier for organizers to get to know and contact bands/artists for gigs.
